The War Memorial Foundation / Carolina Field of Honor conducts and/or sponsors special ceremonies to commemorate the following national holidays:
Memorial Day – 2024
Monday, May 27 at 11:00 a.m.
10th Anniversary Memorial Day Ceremony
(preliminary patriotic music by the United States Fleet Forces Band starts at 10:40am)
Please bring your chair, as there is only limited seating available at these events.

PICNIC SHELTER RESERVATIONS
Whether it is a picnic, an informal company gathering, or rustic-themed wedding reception, Picnic Shelters #6 and #7 located next to the Carolina Field of Honor offer beautiful outdoor scenery and serene atmosphere for your event needs.
All shelters must be reserved at least 2 weeks in advance. Due to necessary preparation, Forsyth County Parks cannot accommodate requests for reservations less than 2 weeks prior to an event.
