The War Memorial Foundation / Carolina Field of Honor conducts and/or sponsors special ceremonies to commemorate national holidays. Here are the upcoming events:
MEMORIAL DAY EVENT
Every year on the last Monday in May
Join us for a MEMORIAL DAY Event on the last Monday in May at 11:00 a.m.
The ceremony will include a presentation of colors, wreath laying, and a special speaker. Please bring your chair as seating is limited.
VETERANS’ DAY EVENT NOVEMBER 11
Join us for the annual VETERANS’ DAY Event on November 11 at 11:00 a.m.
The ceremony will include a presentation of colors, wreath laying, and a special speaker. Please bring your chair as seating is limited.

PICNIC SHELTER RESERVATIONS
Whether it is a picnic, an informal company gathering, or rustic-themed wedding reception, Picnic Shelters #6 and #7 located next to the Carolina Field of Honor offer beautiful outdoor scenery and serene atmosphere for your event needs.
All shelters must be reserved at least 2 weeks in advance. Due to necessary preparation, Forsyth County Parks cannot accommodate requests for reservations less than 2 weeks prior to an event.
