Community Development

It is important that our children and grandchildren have the opportunity to learn about the many heroes that have served in the military throughout the generations. History is one of our most valuable sources of learning.

The Carolina Field of Honor gives families answers to many questions about the past. At the same time, the park provides facilities to compliment family values though education and recreation.

Communities Served

The Triad is not only the Heart of the Carolinas but is also the crossroads to both the center of the state and the eastern seaboard. For traffic traveling the I-40 and I-85 routes, the Memorial is easily accessible Get Directions

Economic Development

The Carolina Field of Honor is meaningful to every profession and occupation in the Triad. Veterans are involved in every aspect of the work force. Revenues in construction, maintenance and tourism have effected the local economy. Materials used on the site are all native to the area and to North Carolina. The park was designed with a green footprint in mind.
